Nominations for 2013 Feather Awards announced

 

What do the Guptas, the Gauteng premier, Da Les, Boity Thulo, Tall Ass Mo and Mamphela Ramphele have in common? They are all nominees for the fifth annual Feather Awards. 

The Feathers are the gay-friendly awards where they, according to co-founder Thami Dish, “give a pat on the back from the gay and lesbian communities to say thank you for inspiring sexual minorities”.

The 5th Annual Feather Awards will take place on the 14th of November 2013.

Cutest Couple: Minnie Dlamini & Itumeleng Khune, Mongezi 'TolAssMo' Ngcobondwane and Mome Maliqwanale as well as Thoba & Cameron Sithole-Modisane

Role model of the year: Zoleka Mandela, Thulani Madondo and TerryPheto

Sports Personality of the year: Itumeleng Khune, S'manga Khumalo, Lucas Sithole

Diva Extraordinaire: Nomvula Mokonyane, David Tlale and Mamphele Ramphela
