Viewers will have the opportunity
to vote for their favourite of the three songs and a final winner will be
announced at the end of November 2013. The winner of the competition will
receive a further R10, 000.00 cash prize, and the two runners up will receive a
R5000.00 cash prize. Loyiso Bala who will be performing one of the songs
commented: "Gospel music is not a genre but rather the message within a
genre. Lyrical content is the most important aspect of creating a gospel song.
I am really honoured to be involved in this project because it is not about us
finding the best gospel singer, but the real star behind a successful song; the
lyricist".
